Rock trees

The natural monument called Rock Tree is a wind formation that stands out among a group of volcanic boulders of different shapes, located on a sandy ground called Siloli Desert, getting into Eduardo Abaroa Andean National Reserve, in the department of Potosi. Its particular appearance is the element that turns it into a tourist attraction. That is why most visitors go there to take photographs of the amazing landscape.

This place is characterized by its intense volcanic activity, fumaroles, volcanic craters and the emission of gases. Boiling lava can be observed in the craters and the steam it releases reaches an altitude of 10 to 50 meters; this phenomenon allows us to appreciate a landscape that goes back in time to the formation of the earth.
