The Coin House was built in 1753. Currently, it is one of the most important places to learn about the history of colonial mineral extraction. Some halls are the rebuilding of bedrooms, dining rooms etc, typical from those years. Others have colonial and republican paintings, indigenous textiles, typical garments and some documents concerning the Chaco War against Paraguay. However, the main aspect to be regarded in this museum is the past of the House as a minting centre of the imperial coin, in addition to a numismatic exposition of the colony.
