
Glorieta Castle
Built by the princes of Glorieta at the end of the 19th century, the castle is considered a well-achieved synthesis of the eclectic architecture. In the different bodies, the most variable styles are found: Mudejar, Neoclassical, Baroque and even Gothic.
Marca Rumi
It is located at 500 metres from Quila Quila. It is place of petroglifos, distributed around 12 big boulders. They represent anthropomorphic figures featured by masks and zoomorphism (reptiles and llamas). Also, we can find geometric complicated designs. They are situated at the foot of Telapaqui hill, which is considered sacred by the locals. The environment in this place is covered by crop fields. The landscape is a low puna (a high Andean plateau), surrounded by peaks of the mountainous regions.
Patatoloyo
It is an archaeological site in Oropeza province. In a cave, there are worthy examples of pictographs that some archaeologists relate to the Sauces and Uruquilla cultures. This is located among fascinating mountainous scenery, carved by the erosion of the wind forming amazing and curious shapes on the rocks. The path to get to this place has a wonderful view from the summit of the mountains of Chataquilla. In certain seasons, it is possible to find a variety of "Puya Raimondi".
